Our client, is an award-winning architectural practice in Cambridge, inspired by the creative process and committed to delivering the highest quality architecture.

This practice is seeking a Marketing & PR Manager to drive and shape the marketing and public relations initiatives of the company.

This role requires a candidate with significant experience, ideally several years, in the architectural, property, or creative industries. They should possess a strong background in marketing management and relevant qualifications, such as a CIM Diploma in Professional Marketing or equivalent experience. The role is characterised by its strategic importance, offering the opportunity to influence the company's marketing direction and expand its market presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hold valid right to work in the UK
  • Work alongside the Leadership Team to review and update our existing marketing strategy and placement
  • Produce a rolling six month plan detailing the studios forthcoming marketing and business development activities
  • Monitor competitors, keep up to date with industry moves, note-worthy projects, sector developments and communicate to relevant Focus Groups
  • Assist with the development, implementation and updating of the studios new website – writing text, selecting photographs, liaising with our web developer
  • Source award entries, draft, organise and submit in good time
  • Produce content for bid and other business development communications, eg press releases
  • Produce and upload social media post in line with agreed schedule
  • Maintain databases of previous responses, key information, approved images etc for bid and other documents

Skills and Experience
  • Several years’ demonstrable experience, preferably within the built environment industry.
  • CIM Diploma in Professional Marketing or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent writing, grammar, punctuation and proof reading skills.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • InDesign and Photoshop
