Junior designer with prior experience in high-end residential, prime property development or luxury hospitality projects to join a close-knit team and be involved in a wide range of luxury projects.
A renowned, luxury interior design studio is looking for a junior interior designer to join their team and be fully immersed at all levels of the design process.
The successful designer will demonstrate a knowledge and natural passion for great design, having the curiosity to understand exacting details. The designer will be joining a close-knit team that contribute to an award-winning culture and an environment that nurtures and develops talent.
This is role is offers hybrid working and presents an exciting opportunity to develop as a well-rounded interior designer, contributing on a range of projects from private residential, prime developments to boutique commercial interiors, that are sophisticated and distinctive.
- Working with the project lead and senior designers to deliver tasks on time and to budget
- Developing and contributing ideas within the concept phase
- Preparing for client presentations by researching, creating, preparing and presenting concepts and imagery that respond to the design brief
- Supporting the design team with the design development phase (including producing plans, elevations, details and 3D sketches) for design package
- Liaising with third party suppliers, contractors, and trades
- Keeping up to date with design trends in the design industry
- Overseeing the materials library
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
- Current Right to Work (RTW) status in the UK
- Experience working in in high-end residential, property development or hospitality design
- Diverse skill set, the ability to design, prepare presentations, space plan, and put together a detailed drawing packages
- Proficient in AutoCAD, in Photoshop, Sketch Up, Adobe CS
- Proactive and be able to act on own initiative
- Able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and communicate effectively
- Meticulously organised and efficient and able to prioritise
