Having recently celebrated its 20th anniversary, this established company, known for its exceptional craftsmanship, innovative use of materials, and extensive portfolio in fine art, luxury interiors, and design objects, is seeking a head of business development. This role will focus on expanding the company's network and partnerships to drive further growth and success.

Since its inception, the company has built a strong collaborative culture under the leadership of its founders. The studio invites new members who can bring diverse expertise and uphold high standards in its team-oriented environment.

The Head of Business Development will be crucial in the company’s expansion, focusing on developing and managing an extensive network of distributors, strategic partners, and brand collaborators. This role entails identifying and securing new relationships, organising existing connections into a structured network, and ensuring sustained growth. The successful candidate will need to utilise their substantial experience in senior management to build and maintain partnerships that enhance our clients' global reach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transform the companies existing relationships into a managed network
  • Set commercial goals for each relationship and ensure these are met
  • Identify and secure new relationships.
  • Grow the relationships into long standing commercial success
  • Develop and implement weekly, monthly and quarterly targets and monitor day-to-day progress to ensure targets are met
  • Work with the company’s designated systems, processes and procedures
  • Work closely with the communications team to ensure that key messages are delivered in a timely manner to the partner network and that they are equipped to deliver the message to their clients and contacts

Skills and Experience
  • Hold valid right to work in the UK
  • Over ten years of experience in a senior role related to the industry
  • Strong commercial acumen and a proven record of professional success
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the Architecture & Design Sector or Luxury Industry, ideally both
  • Proven ability to negotiate partnership agreements
  • Extensive experience managing partnerships, preferably on a global scale
  • Have an established network of connections in Art, Architecture, Design, and Luxury sectors, beneficial for potential company partnerships

This is a full-time role based in the studio 5 days a week and will be crucial in driving the company’s growth, ensuring that our client continues to lead and innovate in the global design art world.
