Exciting opening for a senior architect or associate at AJ100 practice with a culture of cohesion and flexibility.

about the position

This is a role for an experienced architect or associate to lead teams on the design and delivery of UK housing schemes of varying type and scope. Reporting to the London studio lead, you will be managing competing deliverables to ensure projects are on time and budget. You will play a key role liaising with authorities, developers and communities to understand briefs and bring ideas to life, as well as coordinating with external consultants and contractors to ensure technical efficiently and build-ability to practical completion. Although this studio has national offices and a long standing and experienced workforce, as an associate you will be an ambassador for the business and support the development of juniors in a mentorship role.

about the candidate

The successful candidate will be an architect with an extensive portfolio of large scale UK housing projects, high rise and / or student / co-living advantageous. An all rounder with the ability to lead on design, complex planning negotiations and the technical coordination including construction on site. You will have strong interpersonal skills and thrive communicating with a wide variety of people across levels, as well as acting as an inspiration to others. This practice is looking for a future leader so a career record with longevity is highly favoured. Revit is essential to amend models and drawings.
