Lead operations and team development at a dynamic interior design studio
The Studio Manager role at our client is a multifaceted, full-time position critical to the seamless operation of the interior design studio. Responsibilities include managing administrative tasks, overseeing the studio environment, and leading the team while upholding company standards. Acting as a central point of contact for both internal teams and external stakeholders, the Studio Manager ensures smooth day-to-day operations, fosters a positive workplace culture, and supports the Directors in maintaining efficient systems, client relationships, and team development.
The ideal candidate is highly organised, self-motivated, and approachable, with a proactive, collaborative mindset. They should possess a BA in Business Administration, Management, or a comparable degree, or have 4+ years of experience in a similar role within the design industry. Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Xero, and design software like Adobe Photoshop and InDesign is essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, advanced bookkeeping knowledge, and the ability to manage HR processes and administrative systems effectively are also key to success in this role.
