This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Middle-weight FF&E Designer to work on multi-residential and commercial projects, balancing creativity with management responsibilities. The position involves developing high-level and functional interior schemes from concept through to installation and styling, designing bespoke furniture, and managing the FF&E procurement process. The role requires close collaboration with the wider team, coordination with external stakeholders, and the development of strong supplier relationships to support the studio's growth. A solid understanding of technical and shop drawings is highly advantageous, particularly for spatial planning and the design of bespoke pieces. This is a position for a highly organised individual who thrives in a collaborative and creative environment.

about the candidate

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Interior Design or a related discipline, complemented by a portfolio demonstrating extensive experience in an FF&E-focused role within the residential or hospitality sectors. A strong passion for FF&E, design, art, intricate details, and aesthetics is essential, as is staying current with industry trends. The candidate will bring an established network of suppliers and a comprehensive understanding of furniture, fabrics, and finishes. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is a must, along with exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and visual.
