An interiors practice that is gaining significant recognition in London & across the UK for it's commercial projects is seeking an Associate Director to take part in their next phase of growth!

This role will be crucial in driving the company’s global expansion and overseeing all aspects of the London studio's operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property or design management, with a proven track record of business growth. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing the value of the business in alignment with the Board's objectives. This includes commercial responsibility for finances, acting as a company ambassador, and supporting new business development and pipeline management. Collaboration with the Board on strategic issues and operational oversight will be key components of the role, ensuring that the London office meets its objectives efficiently and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • New Business Development - Develop business strategies for target sectors and clients whilst driving the growth of new and existing clients
  • Account Management and Operations - Manage key accounts and build client relationships
  • Business Strategy and Vision - Collaborate with the CEO and Manchester Business Director on business direction
  • Team and Culture - Provide strategic guidance to the executive team and oversee operations across all company functions
  • Finance - Manage P&L, cashflow, and financial reporting. Liaise with accountants and manage payroll
Skills and Experience
  • Presently hold the right to work in the UK
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management, Interior Design, or a related field
  • 7 years of experience in the built environment, with at least 5 years in a management role
  • Proven track record of business growth and achieving financial targets
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting principles
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to travel as required
